in the health and beauty aids section of your local discount store lately? If
you have, you may have noticed that many products contain anti
aging ingredients. In advertising, people know that the words anti aging will turn heads and get the attention of many consumers. Those products will sell much more quickly than comparable products which do not contain ingredients that will help people to look younger, even if they are much more expensive. Everyone seems to be in search of the fountain of youth. Instead of aging gracefully, like people used to do, everyone is desperately searching for ways to look younger. A man with graying hair and a graying beard is no longer a distinguished gentleman. A woman with graying hair and glasses is no longer sophisticated. These people are seen as being old, and old is an adjective that no one wants to be described as being. If they can purchase products that will keep them from aging, they will. After all, these products are worth a try, aren’t they? Even television commercials have changed over the years. It is not uncommon to see commercials for anti aging products advertised on a daily basis. I have even seen commercials for Botox injections. I have yet to see television advertisements for plastic surgery, but I have seen several television programs on the subject. Magazines are also advertising plastic surgery.
